Currently based in Prague, Tomáš is a cinematographer with a background in architecture, photography, and fine arts. While studying at FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague), he worked on numerous short films, many of which premiered at prestigious festivals such as KVIFF and received awards at Kamera Oko, FAMU Fest, the Czech Lions, Festiwal Młodzi i Film, and the Tirana International Film Festival.

In 2023, he shot his debut fiction feature Hore je nebo, v doline som ja (Promise, I’ll Be Fine), directed by Katarína Gramatová, which was selected for competition at the 2024 Tokyo International Film Festival. His documentary work includes Moje nová tvář (Is There Any Place for Me, Please?, dir. Jarmila Štuková), which won the Audience Award at both the Jihlava International Film Festival and One World, as well as Aneta, a true crime film directed by Jiří Sádek, and Letní Hokej (dir. Rozálie Kohoutová, Tomáš Bojar). Beyond narrative and documentary filmmaking, Tomáš brings his artistic vision to commercial projects, collaborating with leading production companies such as ProdCo, Riff Raff, and Stink.
