David Lanzenberg, ASC, is a French-born cinematographer based in Los Angeles & London, known for his work across features, television, music videos, and commercials. He earned an Emmy nomination for Wednesday (Netflix), where he collaborated with Tim Burton, and has also shot for acclaimed series including Severance (Apple TV+), Palm Royale (Apple TV+), and The Morning Show.
His feature film credits include The Signal (2014), The Age of Adaline (2015), Paper Towns (2015), and The Best of Enemies (2019), alongside his breakout indie Celeste & Jesse Forever (2012).
David began his career assisting ASC cinematographers Philippe Rousselot, Checco Varese, Aaron Schneider, and Daniel Pearl, before establishing himself through music videos for artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Daft Punk & Travis, and commercials for brands like Nike, Avon, Timberland, Target, Kohl's and Maybelline.
In 2024 he was invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), recognizing his distinctive style that blends atmospheric, cinematic storytelling with bold use of color and composition.
